The Eastern Dream ferry has been running between Vladivostok, Donghae and Sakaiminato since 2009 on a weekly basis, but sea service was interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the portal "Interfax-tourism" with reference to the Korea International Trade Association, from August 9, citizens of the Russian Federation or third countries will be allowed to board the Eastern Dream vessel with a valid visa. In addition, passengers without a visa will be able to obtain a K-ETA electronic entry permit in advance.

At the same time, all passengers will need a PCR test done 48 hours before the trip.

The ferry will leave Vladivostok on Tuesdays, the return trip is scheduled on Fridays. Travel time will take a day.
