The press service of the Glavgosexpertiza reported that the Namsky Prostory facility is planned to be completed by 2025. It is aimed at the formation of a tourist destination on the territory of the Namsky ulus.
"The concept of "destination" as a key element of the tourism system was introduced by N. Leiper, a professor at the New Zealand Meissen University, in 1979. In fact, it implies that some place is so provided with all the most important and decisive elements necessary for tourists that it can become the main local area of their travel, and the most distant from the place of residence," the message says.
A space of this kind will be "Namsky open spaces". Next to the future cluster there are already five nature reserves with a total area of over 150 thousand hectares, eight monuments of historical and cultural heritage, five local history museums and several hotels of various types.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
