The winner of the European "Camping Industry Oscar" of 2023 has been named

The French camping Domain de Massereau, located in the commune of Sommière in the south of France, became the winner of the European "Oscar of the camping industry" in 2023.

A jury of 40 experts evaluated more than 5.000 places registered in Europe for outdoor recreation. The assessment was carried out in four categories: sustainable development and environmental care; innovation and progress; demographic changes and accessibility; booking.

A special feature of the camping Domaine de Massari is a photovoltaic installation with an area of 1000 m2, which provides 100% electricity to all objects located on its territory.

The campsite is equipped with 40 power sockets for recharging electric vehicles, a waste management system has been created and economical water consumption has been ensured.
