Representatives of airlines and political circles of the United States recommended that the penalties for aggressive air passengers attacking crew members be tightened by law.

It is also recommended to limit the sale of alcohol at airports and on board and to compile a nationwide "black list" of rowdy passengers who are prohibited from flying.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, US airlines have reported 4,385 cases of aggressive behavior of air passengers since January. 73% of them were a reaction to the requirement to wear protective masks.
