The US administration announced that from November 1, it will lift the ban on entry to the United States for vaccinated citizens of European Union member states, as well as China, Brazil, India and South Africa.

Travelers from these countries will need to provide documents confirming full vaccination, and the results of a negative test for Covid-19, passed three days before departure. It is not required to serve the quarantine on arrival.

The ban on EU citizens entering the United States was introduced by US President Donald Trump in March 2020 in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. Under the head of the White House, Joe Biden, the regime was extended.

Since June of this year, the European Union has opened its borders to US citizens, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not. About a week ago, without waiting for reciprocity from Washington, the EU decided to close the entry for unvaccinated tourists from the United States.
