The implementation of the Ecology national project will be discussed today by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev at a meeting of the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Strategic Development and National Projects. According to the press service of the government, the meeting will be held via videoconference, in which representatives of all sub-federal units of the Russian Federation will take part.
It will be attended by First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology Dmitry Kobylkin, Minister of Agriculture Dmitry Patrushev and others.
According to experts of the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation, the Ecology national project has been among the outsiders for the implementation of expenses for several months. Thus, according to the results of 10 months, expenses were met only by 27.1 percent.
At the same time, the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia declares that the dynamics of sales should highly improve by the end of the year and reach 90 percent. Positive dynamics was achieved in the federal project "Forest Conservation" - about 73 percent of the implementation. The Ministry of Natural Resources relates a potential breakthrough with the completed approval process for a number of programs.
