The press service of the Land of the Leopard National Park reported that on the anniversary day, March 24, the premiere of the short film "Marines" will take place in one of the cinemas in Vladivostok. The film will show viewers the beauty of the protected sea through the eyes of state inspectors. The three main characters will tell about life on the protected cordons far from the cities. After watching the film, an employee of the "Land of the Leopard" will speak to the guests, who will answer questions from the audience and tell in more detail about the unique nature of the reserve.

In addition, on March 25, a special lecture about the reserve will be held at the BUK youth library in Vladivostok. On March 16, another lecture will be held at the Children's Library, during which schoolchildren will learn interesting facts about the Sea of Japan. Lessons for children will also be held in schools in the region.

The Far East Marine Reserve was founded on March 24, 1978. Due to the combination of warm and cold currents, there are comfortable habitats for both northern and southern species of animals and plants. Far Eastern trepang, giant octopus, and king crab are under special protection. One of the rarest birds in Russia, the little spoonbill, nests on Fugurelma Island in the southern part of the reserve.
