The Russian Railways holding, as part of the development of railway tourism in Russia, is launching a new tourist train "Bobryonok" number 931, the company said on its website. It will start running on April 29th.
“The launch of the train is timed to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Voronezh Biosphere Reserve, which is celebrated in the region this year. The territory of the reserve is included in the list of biosphere reserves of UNESCO. There is the only experimental beaver nursery in Russia, several museums and numerous eco-trails here.
The train will run on weekends on the route Voronezh - Grafskaya - about. n. them. Peskov (Voronezh Reserve) - Khava.
During a long stay at Grafskaya station, passengers will be able to visit the station museum and see the exposition "Waiting Room of the 19th century".

As stated in the message, in order to organize a regular run of the Bobrenok tourist train to the Voronezh Biosphere Reserve, the holding has carried out a lot of work to prepare the passenger infrastructure and rolling stock. The Voronezh Nature Reserve is one of the oldest in Russia. It was created in 1923 to save the miraculously preserved population of river beavers on the Usman and Ivnitsa rivers near Voronezh.
“During its almost century-long history, the reserve has done a lot of work to study beavers and restore their numbers throughout Russia, which has made it a world-famous beaver breeding center,” Russian Railways noted.
