The Krasnodar Territory of Russia is in a state of fire hazard regime

In the Krasnodar Territory of Russia there is the ceasefire regime in connection with the fire hazard in the region. According to the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Russian Federation, the emergency regime is set in the Seversky municipal region, and a special fire prevention regime has been constituted in other 27 municipal regions.

According to the Ministry of Natural Resources, recently there have been at least 8 fires in the region. More than 500 people were involved in fighting them. Over the next 5 days, a fire hazard class III is forecasted throughout the Krasnodar Territory, with a further increase to the class IV in the southern and southeastern parts of the region.

The ceasefire has been established throughout the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. There are four forest fires to be eliminated. In the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, in connection with the operation of a special fire-prevention regime throughout the region access into forests is limited.

The authorities of the republic are making efforts to control the forest fire situation.
