A unique opportunity to comfortably get to know the beauties, traditions and cuisine of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will be provided to the passengers of the new tourist express train, which will soon be launched in China.
The route of the Hulunbuir train, named after the departure station, is designed for a four-day journey through the vast expanses of northern China, with views of picturesque meadows, mountains and lakes. It will run to Manzhouli, the largest border city 4 km away from the Russian border 6 km away from Zabaykalsk.
You won’t be bored - at different stations of the route, in addition to admiring the beauties of almost untouched nature, passengers will be able to taste the dishes of the internal Mongolian cuisine, ride a snowmobile in the winter or participate in a local wedding ceremony. The train provides 10 thematic cars, including a children's zone and a restaurant car. The business class is equipped with beds, TVs and bathrooms.
According to Cui Xinyu, chairman of the Hulunbuir Cultural Tourism Investment Group, the new train for travelers will make 53 trips a year. "The train is of great significance for Hulunbuir to expand and improve its tourism industry," he said. Tickets are expected to be available online from January.
