In the national park "Land of the Leopard" in Primorye there are new trails available for tourists. For the first time, visitors will have the opportunity to see the old Korean homes of resettlers. The new trails will combine the cultural heritage with ecotourism.

According to the administration of the national park, in the south-west of Primorsky Krai, a large number of historical objects of different periods have survived dating back from the Stone Age to the beginning of the XX century.

Experts have identified a large number of remaining structures of houses and estates of Korean resettlers who lived on the territory of the “Leopard Land” at the end of the XIX century. Old buildings, as well as the remains of a Buddhist temple, a mill, a forge, and wells represent a great tourist potential.

The first round with a demonstration of the elements of ancient culture will be held in December 2019.
Unique trails will combine the Korean historical and cultural heritage, the history of Russian resettlers with the theme of ecological tourism, aimed at introducing the nature of Primorye, Amur leopards and Amur tigers. In addition to developing trails Leopard Land employees are evaluating the possibility of creating expositions from ancient objects collected in the far parts of the national park. Experts intend to make a "point of attraction", which will be equally comfortable for Russian and foreign tourists.
