A project office for the development of the interregional tourist route "Green Route: Baikal-Altai" will be created in the Altai Territory. This was reported by the Altai Territory Department for the Development of Tourism and resort activities.
"The tasks of the project office will include joint work on the final formation and launch of an interregional tourist route, its promotion, preparation of an application for consideration of the route by the expert council of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation to assign it the status of a "National tourist Route", as well as working out the issue of registration of the trademark "Green Route", - said in a statement on the website management.
The route passes through the Altai Territory and the Irkutsk region, known for their natural resources and tourist opportunities. It was designed as a tour for guests from China.
