In 2023, the resort hosted more than 7.5 million guests.

- After the end of the 2014 Olympics, more than 60 million vacationers visited Sochi. The projected tourist flow by 2035 will reach 15 million people annually. Currently, the share of foreign tourists at the resort is 1%. This figure is planned to be increased to 10%. The main reference point will be guests from the Middle East, Asia and the CIS," said Leila Gandaloeva, Director of the Sochi Administration's Project Activities Department.

It is planned to increase the number of foreign guests through the development of event, sports, marine and even luxury tourism. It is also planned to create new tourist clusters at the resort based on the microdistricts of Uch-Dere, Ashe, Loo and Golovinki.
