The Festival of National Theaters of Russia will be held from April 15 to 20 in Elista, the organizers of the event announced. More than 200 representatives of theaters, critics, specialists and heads of cultural institutions are expected to participate.
In total, about 35 events are planned: performances, lectures, master classes and meetings with critics. Six national theaters from different republics of the country will present their productions in the open part of the program. Festival guests will also be able to visit an exhibition about the history of national theaters or join the webcast of events that will be available on record.
The festival should become a bright cultural event that will give a lot of impressions to residents and guests of Kalmykia, as well as present a picture of modern theatrical art from various republics of Russia.
