Russian President Vladimir Putin, in an address to the Federal Assembly, instructed to provide a financing scheme for the Dzhubga-Sochi highway in the Krasnodar Territory. The two-lane highway will relieve heavy traffic towards the Black Sea coast in the summer.

- It will reduce the travel time from the M-4 Don highway to Sochi by 4 times, up to 1.5 hours. It will allow the Black Sea coast to actively develop. But there are solid tunnels and bridges. I ask the Government to calculate the expenses for the construction of the Dzhubga - Sochi highway, this is an expensive project," the President said, addressing the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to preliminary estimates, the cost of construction of the facility will amount to 1.5 trillion rubles. The length of the highway will be 171 km.
