The race at various distances will once again be held at the Pavlovsk State Museum-Reserve. The event will take place on October 1.
“The landscapes of the morning park, unsurpassed sources of inspiration, and friendly company await you,” the organizers said on the event page on VK.
Runners will compete in three distances - 3 km, 10 km and 21.1 km (half marathon).
At the finish of the Pavlovsk Race, each participant will receive a unique medal.
Athletes will be able not only to set personal records, but also to admire the nature and architecture of Pavlovsk.
According to information on the website of the museum-reserve, Pavlovsky Park is a unique monument of landscape art. Its history begins with the founding of Pavlovsk in 1777. Initially, these were forest lands where royal hunts were organized.
The palace and park ensemble of Pavlovsk was created during the heyday of Russian classicism at the end of the 18th – beginning of the 19th centuries. It is a cultural heritage monument and is protected by UNESCO.
