White flowers have appeared on the Ford tung, which is called the "tender tree". Despite the fact that they have a pleasant aroma, all parts of the tree are poisonous.

It is not recommended to touch the tree. The sap of the leaves, flowers and branches can leave a burn on the skin. The plant is pollinated only by bees, - they told in the Caucasian Reserve.

The plant is native to China and Vietnam. Ford tung is also cultivated in Africa, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Tung oil is used for industrial purposes. It prevents metal corrosion and protects wood from water.
