In honor of the World Tourism Day, the Taganay National Park will hold an Open Doors Day on the territory of the ecological and tourist complex in the tract (a group of rocks) Semibratka.
“To come to Semibratka and walk along a new route, having made a trip from Europe to Asia, they invite all residents of Zlatoust and guests of Taganay from other cities. On Saturday, October 1, the entrance to the national park will be free,” the national park reports on its website.
In addition, four free excursions are planned, as well as an ecoquest for school teams and master classes.
Ecotrail "Journey through Europe and Asia" is laid along the border of two continents.
During a four-kilometer journey, guests will learn what geological processes took place in these mountains and see picturesque panoramas of the ridges and Zlatoust, the Taganay website notes.
There are two information gazebos, two viewing platforms, an interactive stand and signs on the trail. And at the beginning of the route there is a visitor center with an interactive exposition.
The route is available all year round to tourists with any level of training, including the elderly and families with small children.
The Taganay National Park is located in the Southern Urals near the city of Zlatoust. Valuable ecological systems have been preserved here almost untouched: mountain tundra and meadows, sparse forests and relict forests. Also found together are animals and plants characteristic of the central strip of European Russia, the Russian North, the Volga region, the Urals, Western and Central Siberia, and Kazakhstan.
Over 200,000 tourists visited Taganay last year.
