Taganai National Park in the South Urals raised money for the development of the territory

New service tourist centers will be built in the Taganay and the Gremuchiy Klutch shelters and the track will be equipped on the new route to the Big Stone River. According to the Taganay park, located in the Chelyabinsk Region, construction materials are already being imported.

As EcoTourism Expert came to know, the biggest changes will occur in Semibratka with a route 4-km long with two viewing platforms being built. In 2021, a visit center will open in Semibratka, which will become another attraction point for tourists.

Taganay Park, as well as 8 other special protected natural areas, is included in the Ecology national project, which allocates about 36 million rubles from the federal budget to improve the tourism infrastructure of the protected areas.

According to the director of the Taganay national park Alexei Yakovlev, for the first time in all the years of the existence of the national park it received substantial funds the development of its territory. 

The national project "Ecology" provides for the creation of 24 new protected areas in Russia, as well as promoting the formation of an attractive infrastructure for ecological tourism. In addition, the national amendment involves the development of neighboring territories with the involvement of the local population.

The Taganay National Park is located in the Southern Urals, near the city of Zlatoust, in the Chelyabinsk Region. It is located on the border of Europe and Asia. The area of ​​the park is 568 square km. Mountain tundra, meadows and relict forests have remained there almost untouched.

Last year, as part of the national project, five new protected areas were created: Zigalga national parks in the Chelyabinsk region, Koygorodsky in the Komi Republic, Tokinsko-Stanovoy in the Amur Region, Lena Pillars in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) and Samursky in the Republic of Dagestan.
