At the resort, it is no longer possible to use electric scooters along the main pedestrian street Navaginskaya, in parks, squares and along the embankments. This is reported by special special signs, they will monitor the execution during raids with the traffic police. Since the beginning of the year, more than 120 users of personal mobility aids have been brought to administrative responsibility at the resort.

- With changes in legislation, users of personal mobility aids have become full-fledged road users, which means that both rental companies and their customers should be responsible. The number of zones where riding on electric scooters will be prohibited will increase. The decision was made at a meeting of the commission on road safety, - said the head of the city Alexei Kopaygorodsky.

Gradually, the number of zones with a ban on the use of electric scooters will be increased. Previously, it was forbidden to create rental points near educational and sports organizations. In the next two weeks, concrete decisions will be made on Sochi microdistricts. Special instructions for the use of electric scooters, gyro scooters and unicycles will be given to companies renting personal mobility equipment. They will have to place the rules in their applications. There will also be marks with zones where the movement of electric vehicles is prohibited.
