Russians are still afraid to book tours for the New Year in advance, but it is already obvious that ski destinations in Russia, and first of all, Krasnaya Polyana and Sheregesh, will be the bestsellers. Maya Lomidze, executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), gave such a forecast on the air of the National News Service on Tuesday.

According to her, now the demand for the New Year has not taken shape at all, and it will be possible to talk about the overall picture of sales not earlier than the second half of November, when the rating of directions becomes clear, what is being sold and at what price.

«Early booking programs for the winter are already open, and this concerns, first of all, ski tours. This is the type of tourism that is booked more or less at the last moment. you can buy with discounts from 25 to 30%, the number of those wishing to book in advance is small,» she said.
