The complex is located on the territory of the historical and cultural reserve "Arkaim" in the Chelyabinsk region. The total cost of work on the development of Sintashta is estimated at more than 4 million rubles.

The press service of the reserve reported that the Arkaim Charitable Foundation received a presidential grant for the implementation of the Sintashta Phenomenon project. This project is aimed at the rehabilitation of the Sintashta archaeological complex.

The project is designed for the 2022-2023 season. The backbone of the project team will be employees of the Arkaim reserve.

The Sintashta archaeological complex is located 19 km from the village of Bredy, on the left bank of the river of the same name, 50 km south of Arkaim. It was from Sintashta that the study of the entire "Country of Cities" began. Bright archaeological collections have been obtained from here, the only monumental barrow of the Late Bronze Age in the Southern Trans-Urals - the Great Sintashta barrow - is located here.
