In Primorye, they are preparing to celebrate the birthday of the scallop. The venue for the celebration on May 7 will be the Grebennikov Farm in Vityaz Bay - the project promotes recreation in the region, local gastronomy and entrepreneurship development. This was reported by the tourist portal of Primorsky Krai.
“The first birthday of the scallop was remembered by many for its originality, unity with nature, and delicious cuisine. The organizers did not let us down and the holiday is gradually moving into the status of an annual event. This year the program promises to be no less diverse and interesting for both adults and children,” the message says.
The holiday program includes sea excursions, during which they will tell how the scallop spawns, how the fry are placed in cages, how the seaside scallop differs from its relatives in the warm seas of Asian countries. Participants of the tour will be able to lay a new "harvest" with their own hands.
In addition, guests will have the opportunity to try seafood dishes, participate in master classes and quizzes for adults and children, see a puppet theater performance and a musical group concert.
“There will be many, many scallops in the program! Fresh, with a delicate, unique sweet-creamy taste, unlike anything else. And it will be the most delicious scallops. And all because their path from the bottom to the table will be unusually short,” the portal says.
