For the opening of the new winter season 2023-2024 at the famous mountain resort, two types of artistic stamped postcards were put into circulation, each with a circulation of 1,800 pieces. One shows the cable car and the Stone Pillar peak, the second shows a view of the Aibga ridge and Rose Square. The postcards are also decorated with the inscription: “Best wishes from Sochi!” Resort guests will be able to send these postcards anywhere in Russia at the post offices of the mountain cluster and Greater Sochi.
“We are pleased to continue cooperation with our partner - the Rosa Khutor resort. New postcards will be a good reason to remember the tradition of sharing travel impressions with loved ones and relatives by sending them handwritten messages,” said Elena Babak, director of the Federal Post Office of the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Post.
Every year about 2 million people vacation in Rosa Khutor. In 2022, they sent more than 51,000 letters and cards and over 18,000 packages from the resort.
“We thank Russian Post for cooperation. Thanks to postcards with views of the resort, our guests will be able to please themselves and loved ones with kind words and leave memories of their vacation in the Sochi mountains. Nowadays, with the help of such a handwritten message, you can convey your special attitude to the addressee. I think that many tourists will decide to take advantage of such a good opportunity,” said Alexander Belokobylsky, general director of the Rosa Khutor resort.
