Almost 900 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget for the construction of roads for the new resort "Belokurikha-2" in the Altai Territory. In total, it is planned to spend at least a billion rubles on the project, experts noted.

As EcoTourism Expert came to know, two routes should connect the central areas of the resort with the mountains Mishina and Glukharinaya. According to the head of the regional department for the development of tourism and resort activitiesб Yevgeny Deshevykh, all the work should be completed before the end of 2022.

About 880 million rubles will be allocated from the federal budget. The initial works are planned to be started in 2020. In addition, part of the finances will be allocated from the regional budget, and the total amount will hit the total of one billion rubles.

To attract investors to Belokurikha-2, the regional government intends to subsidize the bank interest rate and property tax.

The resort of federal significance "Belokurikha" appeared in the foothill zone of Altai at the end of the XIX century. It is known for radon sources and mountain air. The sanatoriums of the resort are visited annually by at least 200 thousand people.

The Belokurikha Gornaya site, better known as Belokurikha-2, is a project for a completely new resort where modern health and entertainment services will be provided.

At the initial stage of the development of the project, the emphasis is on active and informative tourism - this is a ski complex and a network of mountain trails.

An asphalt high-tech serpentine road has already been built to the future resort. A ski-biathlon complex has already been built on the territory of Belokurikha-2, one ski resort "Mishina Gora" is operating, the second - "Mountain Glukharinaya" is in the stage of preparation. Hiking routes are open, and the first hotel is scheduled to be open soon. In 2020, it is planned to commission gas supply networks and water supply networks.
