In Rybinsk, a number of plans have been developed for lovers of literature as part of thematic (hobby) tourism.
In particular, we are talking about literary and local lore routes and excursions to places associated with literature and the names of poets, playwrights, journalists, satirists who are widely known and not yet discovered by the mass reader, who in different years were related to the Volga city.
The Department of Tourism of the Yaroslavl Region announced this on its website.
The Literary Museum, which opened in Rybinsk in early May, is intended to become a new point of tourist attraction. “The museum has two halls, one of which is dedicated to the 19th century, the second - to the 20th century and the present. Stands and subject compositions tell about writers associated with Rybinsk. Among them are Lev Oshanin, Alexei Surkov, Alexander Gilyarovsky, Ivan Aksakov,” the message says.
Among the exhibits of the museum are the typewriter of the poet Nikolai Yakushev, issues of the Sovremennik magazine for 1864, and bibliographic rarities.
At the end of May, tourists are invited by the All-Russian Literary Festival "Solar Circle" named after. L.I. Oshanina.
