The second volume of the historiographic monograph "History of Krasnaya Polyana" by the Krasnodar historian and local historian Dmitry Andreev has been published. This is the only research work that summarized all the stages of the historical development of the area in the Mzymta river valley - from ancient times to the present. A deep and well-illustrated work shows in detail the history of the emergence of Krasnaya Polyana, the features of the life of the village and its original population at different times. The publication of the monograph was carried out with the financial support of the Rosa Khutor resort.
“Historical heritage preservation is one of the key components of Rosa Khutor's sustainable development agenda. We know that the resort is located in a region with a history dating back to ancient times. There are many employees in our team who continue the path of their ancestors, who cultivated and decorated this land from generation to generation. We are pleased to have the opportunity to support the publication of the epic work of our contemporary, who undertook to present the history of Krasnaya Polyana in great detail. The second volume of the publication, like the first one, will be donated to school and municipal libraries in Sochi,” said Dmitry Kolosov, director for sustainable development of the Rosa Khutor resort.
The circulation of the two-volume monograph "History of Krasnaya Polyana" was 500 copies. You can buy the book in the shops of the village, as well as through the website of the author of the publication www.mountaindreams.ru.
