In Vladivostok, you can now go on a tour of the halls of the Primorsky State Art Gallery with a robot guide. A new employee named Plato has already been hired. This was announced by the Tourist Information Center of Primorsky Krai on its website.
“This innovative, safe and interactive solution is interesting for both children and adults. The robot communicates with people and answers questions. He will lead tours of the permanent exhibition of the Primorsky State Art Gallery “Russian Art. From the icon to the avant-garde,” the message reads.
Platon will tell about the history of the museum, show promotional material on the screen and walk with the guests through the four halls, telling about the works of Ivan Aivazovsky, Valentin Serov, Sylvester Shchedrin, Ivan Kryukov and other artists. The list of exhibition works for his story will expand. He will also be able to take a photo for the participants of the excursion.
