The press service of the Krasnoyarsk Pillars National Park has announced that the "Narym" scientific and educational complex is once again open to visitors. It was closed in mid-October due to frequent bear sightings in the recreational area.
According to the security department, no bear tracks have been found in the recreational and specially protected areas since early November. This indicates that the animals have entered hibernation for the winter. Bears typically spend around 170 days in hibernation. Specialists note that this year, the food conditions for these predators were sufficient, so encounters with wandering bears in the protected area are unlikely.
"Narym" is now operating as usual. However, tourists are still advised to visit the national park's hiking trails only during daylight hours. For questions about obtaining permits to enter the specially protected area, visitors can contact the Krasnoyarsk Pillars security department.
