The project to create a resort and recreation complex "Rusich" was discussed with the corporation "Tourism.RF" at a meeting of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate under the Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrey Nikitin.
It is planned that the resort will appear in Staraya Russa.
“According to the preliminary concept, on the territory of the resort facility with an area of 31 hectares there will be dormitory buildings, an apart-hotel with service, houses for family holidays. Wellness programs will be drawn up taking into account the use of effective treatment methods based on mineral water and therapeutic mud,” Tourism.RF reports on its website.
For guests of the sanatorium, it is planned to build an aqua-thermal complex with pools filled with fresh and mineral water. Mineral water springs will operate in the sanatorium, SPA zones and a balneo-mud treatment center will be created.
According to preliminary calculations, the number of rooms in the complex will be 380 rooms.
According to the corporation, Staraya Russa is one of the oldest health resorts in Russia, and the new complex will combine the traditions of spa treatment and the modern format of active recreation.
