Renting an apartment for the New Year is most expensive in Sortavala and Sochi

Daily rental of housing in Russia for the New Year holidays has risen in price by up to 30 percent over the year. She grew up the most in Sochi, Sortavala and Kaliningrad. This is reported by the online accommodation booking service <url>.

The rental rate for housing in Sochi during the New Year holidays increased by 26 percent and averages 5,920 rubles per day. The same indicators are in Kaliningrad, with the cost of apartments – 4250 rubles. Rent in Sortavala increased the most, by 30 percent, the price reaches 9729 rubles per day.

- Prices closer to the New Year will most likely not grow, but it is better to book accommodation now, – says the CEO of the Russian online accommodation booking service Daily.<url> Yuri Kuznetsov.

The absolute leader in the number of bookings for New Year's holidays has been St. Petersburg for many years in a row. Next are Moscow, Kazan, and Sochi. The demand for short–term rentals for the period December 30 - January 8 on a Daily basis.ru has grown by about 50-60 percent compared to last year.
