Quotas for sightseeing buses to Abkhazia will be introduced in Sochi

The necessary measure is connected with the growth of the tourist flow to the republic, its increase is predicted in the upcoming summer season.

- Decisions have been made on the need to organize traffic on the access roads to the Adler automobile and pedestrian checkpoint, as well as to streamline the order of arrival time of tour buses. Setting quotas and arrival time at the border, - said Deputy Mayor of Sochi Svetlana Kalinina.

When crossing the border, a full inspection of vehicles is provided for compliance with the established requirements and the availability of official contracts of carriers with excursion organizations. To speed up the process, organizations are recommended to provide lists of passengers traveling on tour buses in advance.

- Work will also be carried out with companies providing their services in hotels and sanatoriums. Memos for guests and residents on crossing the border to families with children under 14 years old, as well as a list of necessary documents, have also been distributed, the first Vice Mayor of Sochi said.
