The press service of the Roscongress Foundation reported that preparations for the international forum "Altai. Thread of Nature" have reached the final stage. The event will take place from September 29 to 30 on the territory of the Manzherok off-season resort in the Altai Republic.
Environmental initiatives, development projects and advanced environmental practices of Russian regions will be presented at the forum. Representatives of federal and regional authorities, heads of constituent entities, representatives of foreign states, as well as specialists from environmental, scientific, educational and public organizations and environmental communities are expected to take part in the discussions.
In particular, they will discuss new opportunities for sustainable development, taking into account maintaining a balance between economics and ecology, territorial development policies, tourism in specially protected natural areas and other topics. The key event of the forum will be the plenary session “From ecology of thinking to environmental sovereignty.”
