7000 guests, 65 performances by artists, bright light shows at an altitude of 1100 meters and hiking with a star at New Star Weekend 2023. Last weekend, from September 21 to 24, culture and sports, music and technology, a unique natural landscape and creative ideas combined in the mountains of the Rosa Khutor resort. The second autumn festival was held here, the organization of which was organized by the team of one of the main winter events – New Star Camp.
"Even at the first stages of the creation of New Star Weekend, we decided that we wanted to give the project a strong start and use for this all the experience accumulated over 15 years of New Star Camp. Did it work out? Yes, and even better than you might expect! In just two years, our team managed to accomplish the impossible. To date, in terms of the number of participants, media, influencers and partners, the festival has come as close as possible to the indicators of the winter event. We were surprised ourselves how quickly the soldout crept up this year. And this is just the beginning! We take the already working formats, but we change the qualitative approach, making the most of the huge potential for development. The plans for next year are to use not only the Rosa Khutor space, but also the territories adjacent to the resort. We have a lot to grow, which means that New Star Weekend 2024 will be even bigger and grander. Further — only into space!", — comments the creator of the festivals New Star Camp and New Star Weekend Igor Ignatiev.
This year, at New Star Weekend, guests were fully immersed in the outdoor atmosphere and a variety of activities. The already proven Party Hike format with a star turned out to be an unforgettable event. This time, Anton Belyaev became the musical guide who led the participants along the picturesque mountain trails. And the campaign was completed by the performance of Therr Maitz on an experimental stage at an altitude of 1600 meters above sea level.
