The opening of the House of the Snow Leopard Museum took place in the administrative and excursion complex of the joint directorate of the Sayano-Shushensky Reserve and the Shushensky Bor National Park (Krasnoyarsk Territory).
“The museum exposition is a labyrinth of “rocks and caves”, as well as interactive stands with textual information and multimedia dedicated to the snow leopard and its habitat. Visitors can get acquainted with general information about the Sayano-Shushensky Reserve and go on an interactive expedition "On the trail of the snow leopard," the Roszapovedtsentr of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia said on its website.
In the future, the Snow Leopard House may become an environmental education center for residents of the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, as well as guests from Khakassia, Tyva and other regions.
