28,000 works by Norwegian expressionist artist Edvard Munch have found a new roof in Oslo.

The new Munch Museum is a 13-storey building with an area of 26,313 sq. m. It is five times larger than the exhibition space where the artist's creations were previously exhibited.

In addition to the iconic painting "Scream", the exhibition presents such famous works as "Vampire" and "Madonna".

The new Munch Museum has become the world's largest exhibition dedicated to one artist. The facades of the building are finished with perforated aluminum of varying degrees of permeability, so depending on the lighting and the time of year, the building will always look different.

The cost of the project amounted to more than a quarter of a billion euros.
