The press service of Mospriroda said that in Moscow you can see about 270 species of birds, of which 88 species are listed in the Red Book of the capital. The new project was created to help Muscovites and guests of the capital recognize birds by their voice in natural conditions. On the site you can read about birds, see how they look, and listen to their voices.

Every month during the year, Mospriroda will talk about the species of one of the birds of the world, as well as how the representatives of this family differ from each other, what are their distinctive features of appearance and shades of voice.

In February, the audio guide will tell you about owls: long-eared owl, short-eared owl, gray owl, horn-legged owl, pygmy owl and long-tailed owl.
