From June 1, the Moscow Zoo switches to summer mode of operation - now you can walk there from 07:30 to 22:00. The entrance to the territory will be open until 21:00. Terminals and duty cash desks are open from 07:30 to 21:00.
“The beginning of summer is the best time to visit the zoo. You can walk around the territory for a long time, admire the fresh greenery, flowers, inhale the aromas of lilacs and tulips. And, of course, you can see many of our wards. Each of them has its own hours of rest and activity. Do not be offended by the animals, if someone on the day of your visit decides not to leave the inner enclosure at all - this is their right, ”the zoo said on its website.
Experts note that primates are now very active - they are already starting to go out into outdoor enclosures and enjoy the onset of heat.
“In the first half of the day, Timofey's manul began to go out into the outdoor aviary. He likes to sit on a shelf away from visitors and watch everyone lazily. If you're lucky, you might get closer," the zoo said.
You can see pandas almost any time. In addition, bird watching is very interesting at the beginning of summer - many of them are building nests or already taking care of chicks, such as owls, pelicans and cormorants.
