Funds will be allocated from the federal budget as part of the implementation of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry".
The official website of the Kamchatka Territory reported that the region will receive about 105 million rubles to create the necessary infrastructure for the development of eco-tourism. The corresponding order was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The allocated federal funds will be used, in particular, to develop a network of ecological trails that run through specially protected natural areas, and to organize new tourist routes.
In recent years, travelers have increasingly visited specially protected areas and nature reserves. In order not to create risks for unique and vulnerable ecosystems to move inside such places, improvement is necessary, as well as appropriate engineering and transport solutions.
In total, since the beginning of 2022, the Kamchatka Territory has received more than 288 million rubles from the federal center for the development of the region's tourism industry.
