The horse farm in the village of Lokot, Brasovsky district, the Bryansk region, is recognized as one of the most attractive places for ecotourism - visitors are attracted here by the accessibility of the route and reasonable prices, historical excursions and the opportunity to communicate with horses.

The Lokotsky stud farm is one of the oldest in Russia. The stables of the Brasov estate of the Apraksins, which included Lokot, with meter-long walls and two-story towers at the corners date back to the 1870s.

In the late XIX - early XX century, the Brasov estate was owned by the Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich, who was a great connoisseur and lover of horses. Traditions established more than 100 years ago are honored at the modern Lokotsky stud farm. Now there are two hundred first-class horses here.

During a two-hour sightseeing tour, you can walk around the entire territory of the famous stud farm, visiting the old royal stables and modern buildings, as well as the museum of the history and glory of the enterprise.

The guide will tell you a lot of exciting things about the world of horses - about their breeding and keeping, about communication with these beautiful animals. All visitors are given the opportunity to ride a horse, take wonderful photos, pet and feed the horses. In addition, during the excursion, guests can see camels.
