Leningrad region will equip 47 ecotrails by 2024

The Leningrad Region intends to develop ecotourism. To this end, 47 protected trails will be built there by 2024, local media report.

The eco-trail project was approved this week at a meeting of the regional organizational headquarters for project management.

The trails, designed in the same style, are expected to pass through protected natural areas.

They are suitable for hikers, cyclists and joggers.

This year it is planned to open 22 eco-trails.
