Land art festival "Paustovsky Land" this year will be held from 1 to 3 June in the village of Solotcha. This is stated in the message on the website of the Tourist Information Center of the Ryazan region.

“The festival is dedicated to the birthday of Konstantin Georgievich Paustovsky. From 1930 to 1966, the writer regularly rested and lived in Solotch, devoting many stories and essays to the Meshchera land. It was Paustovsky who laid the first tourist "trail" in these places - a route for hiking. Today, anyone can walk in the footsteps of the writer,” the information center noted.

The festival venues will be located on the central square of the village and directly on the Paustovsky Trail itself. Guests are waiting for master classes, lectures, art space, performances by artists.

The Land Art Festival is part of the Paustovsky eco-tourist cluster development program. It is designed to unite territories, natural and cultural resources, human images reflected in the writer's works, the information center explained.

“The territory of the cluster is ideal for organizing recreation for various groups of the population, as well as for implementing various educational programs. Its main value is a high degree of authenticity: untouched natural complexes, forest and island villages that have survived to this day, everything is like in the works of Paustovsky.

The writer's legacy formed the basis for the concept of hiking, cycling routes, eco-trails, tourist stops, as well as the development of interactive products, infrastructure, services, branding, etc.
