The Kyrgyz Republic has become a partner country of the RTF "Travel!" – 2023. This is a popular tourist destination in Central Asia; more than 3 million tourists visit the country with a population of 7 million people every year, the press service of the forum reports.
The Kyrgyz Republic has granted a visa-free regime to 68 countries.
As part of the festival program, the country will present its tourism potential - travelers will learn where to relax on the coast of the wonderful Issyk-Kul, how to get to Son-Kul Lake, which is located at an altitude of more than 3,000 m above sea level, about outlandish waterfalls and the most interesting places in Tien Shan mountains. And also about the Red Book animals and plants, historical monuments and Neanderthal sites. In the country you can find a place for a beach holiday, choose a hiking route, try rafting and kayaking, visit thermal springs.
In addition, the Kyrgyz Republic has favorable natural conditions for the development of winter tourism. The main directions for winter recreation today are the city of Bishkek, the Chui region and the eastern part of the Issyk-Kul region. The country plans to create recreational areas, build sanatorium complexes, develop adventure and ethno-cultural tourism.
Projects for Russian investors will be presented at the business forum and the Travel! exhibition. In the business communication zone at the exhibition, it will be possible to obtain information about offers and preferences for Russian entrepreneurs when investing in the tourism infrastructure of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The bill received proposals from regions, the Presidential Administration, the Security Council, federal agencies, public organizations, and nearly 1,500 citizen appeals.
The forum, which brought together experts from a wide range of industries, hosted approximately 50 business events across three thematic areas: economics and investment, architecture and integrated territorial development, and tourism and hospitality.
