Karting center is planned to be built in Chita

The company "Masma-Drive" in the status of a resident of the territory of advanced development (TOP) "Transbaikalia" creates a go-kart center "MASMA" in Chita. The project has already received approval from the Russian Automobile Federation (RAF). This was announced by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic (KRDV) on its website.

"The sports facility will allow to develop karting, drift, motorsport among children, teenagers and adults in the region, attract tourists by holding spectacular competitions," the message says. According to the agreement with the KRDV, the volume of capital investments in the project is about 80 million rubles, 43 jobs are being created. The first phase of the complex will open in the first quarter of 2025.

Taking into account the requirements of the RAF in the design and construction will allow the center to hold official competitions in the field of motor sports.

"This is a spectacular sport, it will attract not only residents of Transbaikalia, but also tourists from China and other countries," said Vladimir Zabelin, director of Masma-Drive LLC, quoted by KRDV.

The karting center will be created in three stages. From the first quarter of 2025, it is planned to open a Class A highway with a length of 1.22 kilometers, a car service, an office and auxiliary premises. This will allow you to start providing car rental services. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the main building with a 16-room hotel, stands and parking, a service park and related infrastructure will be built. The sports complex will start teaching driving. As part of the third stage, buildings of an indoor cartodrome and a shopping center will be built. The provision of card rental services in the indoor cartodrome is planned from the 1st quarter of 2027, the KRDV said.
