Airbnb rental service announced a contest among couples in love: for the first time since the 1930s, they will be able to spend the night at the Juliet's house during the upcoming Valentine's Day. The winner will be the author of the best letter to Juliet. The winner will spend the night at the Casa di Giulietta in the center of Verona, which is considered the original home of the Shakespeare's character.
The building of the XIII century, which became a museum, receives pilgrims from all over the world, but for almost a hundred years no one has been living there. On the St.Valentine’s Eve, Airbnb will open its doors for the first time to a couple in love who can spend the night in Juliet’s room and sleep in the Letto di Giulietta bed, which was used to shoot Franco Zeffirelli’s film Romeo and Juliet (1968).
A lucky couple, in addition to the shelter, will receive an inspired Romeo and Juliet tour of the city, read and answer letters sent to Juliet by other applicants.
A personal butler and a dinner by candlelight will be offered for the winner and his partner in the luxurious dining room. It will be cooked by the famous Italian chef, awarded with two Michelin stars - Giancarlo Perbellini.
