iFly Airlines failed to obtain permission to fly to Egypt through the airspace of Jordan, and therefore the carrier announced the termination of flights from Russia to Egypt.

According to the tour operator Tez Tour, iFly, with the support of other airlines, took out of Egypt almost all the Russians who were there - about 7.500 people.

Nevertheless, there are still Russian Tez Tour tourists in Egypt who will be offered individual options for returning to Russia.

Earlier, the Consulate General of the Russian Federation reported that there are still about 20 tourists in Egypt who were brought to the country by iFly airliners.

iFly stopped flights to Egypt on December 15 after Jordan closed its airspace to the airline.
