In honor of the World Health Day, which is celebrated on April 7, Mospriroda has prepared the Green Walkers program. From April 5 to April 25, eco-tours and other educational events are held in the natural areas of the capital.
“Specialists have developed interesting and useful routes for Nordic walking, as well as eco-races, lectures, excursions, master classes and other events dedicated to health and a healthy lifestyle,” the message on the Mospriroda website says.
All these events will combine sports and environmental education.
“During the health eco-walks, participants will be able to listen to birdsong, see primroses, and maybe even meet the inhabitants of natural areas, learn interesting features and facts about flora and fauna,” said Vera Strukova, deputy head of the State Budgetary Institution “Mospriroda”, whose words are quoted in the message.
