The first tourist charters from Moscow will now head to Sakhalin. This was stated by the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova during her business visit to the Far East.
All companies launching charter programs will receive subsidies from the state. They will be compensated for 50% of the aircraft freight.
Besides Sakhalin, this year Rostourism intends to support charter programs in 19 more directions.
The charter program will help reduce the prices for vacations by 1.5-2 times and ensure the connectivity of the country's regions with each other where air traffic is not developed. This will make tourism in remote parts of Russia more accessible.
As part of the federal charter support program, Rostourism also proposes to include in the program all regions where civilian airports are currently operating (65 airports).
