The bill, which amends federal law, introduces the definition of a guest house. This type of accommodation is popular in beach resorts. According to experts, there are about 10 thousand such objects in the Krasnodar Territory.
-If the document is adopted in its current form, guest houses will only have to notify the Ministry of Economic Development about the start of their activities. It is not necessary to obtain permits, - they said in the Association of Tour Operators of Russia.
According to experts, the sooner the law on guest houses comes into force, the more entrepreneurs will be brought out of the shadows. Classification of objects will be voluntary. Guest houses will be included in the same register as hotels, beaches, ski slopes.
- One of the important tasks is to ensure the safety of guest houses. While such accommodation facilities have not legalized their status, in fact, they are residential premises. Conducting inspections in the area of fire and sanitary and epidemiological safety in such facilities is not provided, ATOR noted.
Participants discussed the boundary between nature and ecotourism, whether mass visits to unique areas can remain safe, the responsibilities of investors, and how to prepare tourists for visiting specially protected natural areas.
The head of state expressed confidence that the Forum will be held at a high level, and that its results will contribute to the development of tourism in Russia and the expansion of humanitarian and business ties.
