The corresponding mechanism has already been developed by the country's foreign policy department.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland has prepared a mechanism to limit the issuance of visas to Russians, according to which the number of ordinary tourist visas will be reduced," TASS quoted Finnish Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto as saying.

He noted that priority in issuing visas could be given to those traveling for family reasons, study or work.
